A letter reportedly written with the aid of a trainer to parents is sparking a debate on homework.

The notice, which was at first posted to facebook and reposted to Reddit, describes a new homework coverage:

After an awful lot analysis this summer time, i'm trying anything new. Homework will best consist of work that your scholar did not finish all the way through the college day. There could be no formally assigned homework this year.

analysis had been unable to show that homework improves student performance, rather, I ask that you just spend your evenings doing issues that are confirmed to correlate with student success. eating dinner as a family unit, read together, play outside, and get your child to mattress early.

The letter has gotten thousands of feedback on Reddit.

What do you think of the homework policy?
